This is the touching moment a Filipino father and son with their dog pushed a cart with Jesus Christ's statue around their neighbourhood on Palm Wednesday (April 8) a few hours before the coronavirus curfew.

The religious trio were seen walking barefoot around a neighbourhood in Malabon City while wearing masks to stop them catching Covid-19.

Onlooker Jai Roque said he found them while on his way home from getting supplies for his family.

He said: "I was stunned when I saw them. The father's determination is amazing."

The trio did not go far from their house as they only went around that route the entire day until the curfew.

Easter is a major religious event in the Philippines that is home to 84 million Catholics.
