State of emergency to be extended until May 10,Government forbids citizens from entering or leaving Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi, Kutaisi for 10 days
According to the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia, the state of emergency will be extended in Georgia until May 10. The Prime Minister said the President should address the Parliament with this proposal in the coming days.According to the government's decision, it will be forbidden to enter or leave all four major cities of Georgia - Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi and Kutaisi - for 10 days.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, made the above announcement at the briefing. According to him, it happened for the first time that 30 people were infected in a day and 500 people are being examined. The Prime Minister said the country moved to the stage of full-scale internal spreading of the virus.
