This is the moment a man from Southend-on-sea in Essex in the UK played an amusing prank on his parents.

The practical joke, which was filmed in March 2020, begins with Callum Thomas, 22, shouting down the stairs: "Dad, quick, the toilet's smoking!"

Both Thomas's parents run upstairs to the bathroom in a panic expecting to find a fire.

When they peer inside, they discover their joker son has placed two toilet rolls on the lid of the toilet as eyes and a third between the lid and the bowl like a cigarette.

"I thought it was hilarious and the best thing I've seen," said Thomas.

His parents were not so amused and responded with "colourful" language.

I filmed this video in my house in Essex, I am Callum Thomas, 22, Banking Adviser, Southend on sea Essex! It was filmed on 22/03 and in my house. I decided to film this video because I saw it an opportunity to prank my family! I thought it was hilarious and best thing I've seen everyone said it was hilarious and my friend even had someone in Argentina send it to them not knowing they knew me. In the video I made out the toilet to look like it was smoking and I acted to my parents that it was literally smoking.
