The incident took place on November 4, 2019, at the Kalawewa National Park.
Though it is shy at first, the bull male slowly starts to mingle with the group and is seemingly accepted by the herd.
According to reports, the elephant has been identified as Barana.
Barana is reported to have killed a 40-year-old man a few years ago while returning back to the jungle.
