Helmet saves Chinese biker's life after his head was run over by a truck
A biker's life was saved by his helmet after a truck ran over his head in eastern China.
The dramatic video, shot in the city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province on March 8, shows a scooter having a collision with a truck and the rider falling over onto the ground after both of the vehicles run the yellow light.
The truck then was seen running over the scooter rider's head before stopping at the crossing. Since the scooter rider wore a strong helmet, he was pushed away from the tyre after the truck ran over his helmet.
Thanks to the helmet, although the biker suffered fractures, his head was not injured at all. The case is being investigated.
