Curfew violators in the Philippines forced to watch film about coronavirus
Curfew violators in the Philippines were gathered at an empty basketball court by authorities to make them watch a movie as punishment.
Twenty-five offenders were caught out and about during the curfew hours at Las Pinas City on Monday night (April 13).
In the video, the violators were seen seated in plastic chairs while a film about the coronavirus was projected in front.
The Las Pinas City police station said that they were given stern warning and taken back to their respective villages afterwards.
Officials in the Philippines are enforcing strict community lockdowns and curfews to stop the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.
