Crowds ignore Covid-19 social distancing rules at food market in the Philippines
A food market in the Philippines was crowded with long lines of flouting social distancing rules during the coronavirus lockdown.
Footage taken on Monday (April 14) showed the crowds flocking to markets and grocery stores in San Pedro City Laguna City in the morning while there were still supplies of food.
Onlooker Robert Pendon was driving around the area when he saw the situation.
He said: "I'm worried because that town has the highest number of covid-19 positive cases in the city so far."
The Philippines has imposed community lockdowns in major regions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
