India is facing a challenge to keep migrants indoors in shelter homes after the national COVID-19 lockdown was extended by three weeks.

The footage, filmed on April 13, shows hundreds of migrants lying on their beds at a shelter in Delhi.

The local government has brought in yoga instructors in an attempt to keep the migrants entertained and healthy.

State governments in India are facing a unique challenge to keep the restless migrants indoors in shelter homes due to the Nationwide Lockdown extension. With no entertainment or even TV available, most are glued to their phones, while some could be seen only sleeping.

In such time of duress, people living in night shelters across India are trying to stay happy by Listening to Music, watching Movies and attending yoga classes.

Delhi government has crowd-sourced yoga trainers to conduct Yoga classes at Yamuna Sports Complex in Delhi to keep the migrants physically fit and keep their spirits high. The trainers conduct these sessions every day in the morning. Those staying here are mainly migrant laborers and people from financially weaker sections of the society.
