Turtle found loitering on streets rescued by people in Southern India
A turtle was spotted roaming on the street by locals and was rescued by few people amidst the lockdown in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
The turtle was rescued from Gandhi Nagar in Vellore district on April 14.
The video shows, the turtle wandering on the street and the people gather around looking at it. A man then puts it in a bag and another takes to it away to be released into the safety.
According to the reports, the turtle would made it to the streets from the nearby forest range.
The turtle was later released near the Mordhana Dam located in close to Gudiyatham.
