A farmer was amazed after discovering a Horsehair Worm under the wet soil at his Durian farm in Songkhla, southern Thailand on March 28.

Khun Mhan recorded the bizarre insect after he had finished watering the trees. He said: "I have never seen this kind of creature before. I am a bit curious about what it is."

Horsehair worms, also known as Gordian worms, are normally found in water or wet areas. They are usually harmless to humans and pets.
