Two residents in Kesongo Village, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia, have their own ways to encourage people not to gather and leave the house during the coronavirus pandemic.

Wearing white powder and white clothes like ghost pocong, they walked in the residential area.

They hope, by dressing up like ghosts of citizens who see the fear, they will immediately go home.

One resident who became a ghost named Deri said, this action they did so that people obey the government's call not to leave the house during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Deri, if there are still many people who leave the house, the spread of coronavirus is difficult to prevent.

"Therefore we dress up to resemble the ghost of Pocong so that residents who see us become afraid, so they go home," said Deri.

This ghost action is carried out at night on the way to the village entrance.

"Done at night and it turns out this is effective in preventing residents from leaving their homes," said Deri.
