Police and Army in Makassar Provide Public Kitchens for Communities Affected by the Covid-19 Outbreak

Battalion A Sat Brimob of the South Sulawesi Regional Police together with the Indonesian National Army built a public kitchen intended for people affected by the economy due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The public kitchen was set up at Battalion A headquarters in Makassar, South Sulawesi Province, Thursday, April 16, 2020.

This public kitchen is a place to make food which is then distributed to the public on the streets. Not only that, it was also given to the people who carried out independent isolation at home because of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Commander of Battalion A Satbrimob South Sulawesi Regional Police, AKBP Darminto said, it cooked together with the police and the Indonesian National Army. Furthermore, the finished food will be distributed directly to the people who carry out independent isolation. (*)
