Firefighters freed a man's leg from a bicycle lock after his wife chained him to it to restrict his movement in northwestern China.

The video, shot in the city of Xining in Qinghai Province on April 15, shows firemen using a tool to tear down the bicycle lock that his wife locked it on his ankle.

According to reports, the couple had an argument, so the wife used a bicycle lock to lock a pan on the husband's ankle to restrict his movement.

The video was provided by local fire brigade with permission.

4月15日12时48分左右，西宁市消防救援支队接到一男子报警求助称，自己腿部被自行车锁锁住，无法脱困，需要消防部门救助。
接警后，城西区西川南路消防消防救援站消防员立即赶赴现场处置。消防员到达男子家里后发现，他右脚踝处被一把自行车锁锁住，锁上还挂着一口平底锅。
男子称，夫妻闹矛盾，妻子为了限制他出门，在他睡着后锁上的。消防救援人员在为男子做好防护工作后，利用破拆工具帮助男子成功脱困。
