The quarrel between families of patients who died with doctors occurred in hospitals in Indonesia.

In footage filmed on April 17 at the COVID-19 referral hospital in the Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra province shows fight occurred near the isolation room of COVID-19 patients.

The patient's family rejects the treatment of doctors who process bodies like the coronavirus victims.

Ray, a patient's family, said the victim was a 58-year-old female teacher. Taken to hospital on Thursday (April 16) due to a fever and had diabetes not because of contracting the coronavirus.

The victim died the next day, the doctor issued an X-ray there was damage to the lungs.

The doctor determines the victim as a Patient Under Supervision (PDP COVID-19) so that the organization up to the funeral of the body must be processed according to the permanent procedure for handling patients infected with COVID-19.

Family protested the doctor's policy because the results of the swab from labor had not yet come out. The family is worried that the COVID-19 process will be labeled a disgrace by the victim's neighbors in the village.

The family and the hospital finally agreed to postpone the funeral, and temporarily buried the body in the morgue to swab the sample of the victim's nose and throat to be examined in the lab whether positive or negative COVID-19.

Until Saturday (April 18) the official website of the Indonesian Ministry of Health released 6,248 Positive COVID-19, recovered 631, and 535 died.
