Leopard relaxes on rock by side of road, as though waiting for lockdown violators in Northern India

leopard strolled on the road and rested on a piece of rock as though he’s on COVID-19 duty keep a watch on violators of lockdown in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand.

The animal was spotted near Kaladhungi range in Haldwani of Nainital district on April 16.

The video shows, the leopard walking slowly and getting in the rock by side of the road and relaxing.

According to the reports, Forest Conservator Western Circle, Nainital stated that the wild animals are often spotted on the roads since the lockdown was announced.

'The behaviour of animals have changed as humans have changed theirs by staying indoors abiding by novel Coronavirus lockdown guidelines,' he added.

The state has recorded 42 positive cases of COVID-19 and no deaths related to the disease, so far.
