Drivers Not Using Masks Are Prohibited To Cross The Makassar City Border

Police officers, soldiers and the Civil Service Police Unit conducted a strict inspection at the border of Makassar City and Gowa Regency, Monday, April 20, 2020. Every passing driver was inspected and required to wear a mask.

Drivers who do not use masks are stopped and asked to return. If they do not want to go back, it is advisable to buy masks that are sold by some young people around the border of Makassar City.

In addition to checking masks, officers also check the body temperature of the drivers who pass. The activity was carried out to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. (*)
