The incredible "blue tear" phenomenon turned the seawater to a glowing blue at Changjiang'ao Beach in southern China.

In the pretty scene, shot in the county of Pingtan in Fujian Province on April 17, the water lit up blue when being splashed and tourists were seen playing in it.

According to reports, the "blue tears" phenomenon which is caused by a type of algae, known as noctiluca scintillans.
