Spraying Disinfectants Using Alcohol and Acetic Acid in Government Offices in Maros Regency, Indonesia

Disinfection spraying was carried out by the Team of Volunteers and Humanitarian Assistance from the Faculty of Industrial Technology UMI Makassar, in several government offices in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Tuesday (4/21/2020). Spraying is done with a mixture of disinfectant liquid with the main ingredient of 70% alcohol and acetic acid.

The places that were sprayed were in Maros Regency, Turikale Maros Health Center, Marau Lau Health Center, Mandai Health Center, Maros Regional Legislative Office, Maros Regent Office, Maros Regional Police Office, Maros Kodim Office, Maros District Prosecutor's Office, Maros District Court Office, and Maros District Flat Office.

There was also a handover of aid in the form of hazmat clothes and face shields for the Maros Penitentiary and for the Salewangang Maros District Hospital.

Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology of the Makassar Muslim University of Indonesia, Zakir Sabara in an interview said, "Spraying in several places, the DPRD office, Kodim, Prosecutor's Office, Regent's office, Police office and low-cost apartment for independent isolation. Spraying using disinfectant liquid with 70 percent alcohol main ingredients and acetic acid. This is effective to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 "
