A chemical factory burst into a huge ball of flames in eastern China on Tuesday (April 21).

The dramatic footage, shot in the city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province, shows a giant ball of fire breaking out of the factory

Fire engines and ambulances were seen driving to the site.

According to reports, at least eight workers were at work in the factory when the incident happened. But no casualties were reported.

The fire has almost been put out and the reason is being investigated.

21日晚21时10分左右，位于江苏连云港市赣榆区城头镇境内的一家化工厂发生疑似爆炸事故，目前消防和救护人员已经赶往现场，伤亡情况暂不明。 据当地一位知情人士告诉记者，他距事发现场约有6公里，晚21时10分左右，他听到连续三次爆炸场响，据他介绍，化工厂内有至少有8名工人在上班，有无伤亡情况还不清楚，事发后他看到有救护车和医院急救车驶往现场。

2020年4月21日晚9时许，赣榆区城头镇后黄墩村连云港宏兴研磨材料有限公司发生火灾。经初步核实，现场无人员伤亡。目前，火情已经基本扑灭，企业主要负责人已被警方控制，火灾原因和详细情况正在调查中，相关信息将及时发布。
