Over 60 snakelets and 40 eggs were rescued from a farmer's mud house in the of village Uthaninuagan in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district.

According to local media, a child spotted the eggs while he was playing near the wall of the house and the farmer immediately called the snake rescuer.

Adult snakes were spotted but left their babies.The snakelets will be released in their natural habitat, away from human habitation.

More than 60 baby snake were rescued from a house in a village Uthaninuagan in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district in the time of pandemic COVID 19.

While the snakelets and 40 eggs were found in a farmer's mud house at Uthaninuagan village, the adult snakes were spotted and left their babies said rescuer Krishnan Gachhait.

One little child spotted those eggs while he was playing near the wall of mud house. After information got the farmer immediately he called snake rescuer Krishna. Krishna is also belongs that village. Krishna saw little baby snakes are ready to out from eggs. He brought all babies who are naturally out from eggs and all eggs. Krishna kept those eggs and out those snake who are ready to birth by his own hand.

The babies would be released in their natural habitat in a river, away from human habitation.

Krishna, a snake rescuer, said he rushed to the site evening after the farmer called, the owner of the house, informed him that a number of snakes were roaming inside his house.

After five hours of search, around 60 snakelets and 40 eggs were found, Krishna said.
