Bali Government Checks All Citizens Body Temperature To Prevent Coronavirus

The island of Bali in Indonesia has been devoid of foreign tourist visits during the coronavirus pandemic. Even so, the Government of Bali in collaboration with citizens continues to tighten supervision in order to prevent coronavirus, Thursday, April 23, 2020.

There are two rules that are currently being applied. First, it requires all residents, including tourists who still survive in Bali to wear masks when outside the home.

Second, all residents outside the home must be checked for body temperature so that it can be ascertained that there is no coronavirus.

Chairwoman II of the Bali Covid-19 Task Force, I Wayan Wirta, said that the activity carried out today was a direct instruction from the Governor of Bali.

According to him, because there was a Coronavirus Bali Covid-19 Task Force formed to prevent it in a number of areas including on city streets.

"As long as this corona still exists, we will still stand here to anticipate that our community can not be affected by the virus. That is the main purpose of this activity, "said I Wayan.
