Two Italian men and their Thai girlfriends were arrested after allegedly being caught shooting n orgy movie during the coronavirus lockdown.

The group checked into a resort in Satun, southern Thailand, but hotel staff became suspicious that they were all crammed into one room while reportedly having 'very loud s*x'.

Staff checked their passports of and noticed that their visas had allegedly expired. Officers identified the two Italian men as Marcire Massimiliano and Mahammadi Dariush.

Immigration officers raided the property on Wednesday night (April 22) and allegedly found the foursome having an orgy with camera equipment set up to film the act.

Police said they also discovered traces of cocaine and marijuana on a bedside table.

They handcuffed the four and took them to the station along with the seized drugs and video production equipment.

Footage shows the group being grilled by detectives at the Satun City district station last night (April 22).

Speaking today, investigating officer Police Colonel Thanisorn Sangthanang said they need to make the further investigations before deciding on the charge. He said that immigration police were also involved in the raid.

He said: ''The investigation began when staff were suspicious of all four of them inside the same room, particularly because this is violation of social distancing guidelines.

''They realised they were having s*x in the room very loudly and began checking and reported them.

''Police attended and caught all four of them having s*x, but we don't know if they were recording it for themselves or to sell.

"Initially, the group will be charged for drug abuse while the two Italians will additionally be charged for overstaying their visas.

"However, they might face further charge if we found that their orgy video was made for selling.''

Officers are now studying the footage and phone records of the suspects to determine whether they were selling the videos or using them for themselves.

They could face further charges under Thailand's Computer Crime Act if they are found to have been producing the movies to sell.
