FRONT-LINE HEALTHCARE WORKERS WITH LIGHTS AND SIRENS
NEW YORK, NY (March 3, 2020) – FDNY Firefighters and Fire Officers
will be applauding and thanking New York City’s healthcare heroes for
their tireless dedication in the fight against COVID-19 tonight at 7
p.m. at NYU Langone, 550 1st Avenue, New York, New York. Dozens of
firefighters in “turnout gear” will unload off the back of firetrucks
and greet healthcare workers with lights, sirens, and applause, to
thank them for their work to treat New Yorkers with coronavirus. The
standing ovation from heroes to heroes comes just hours after New
York’s coronavirus death toll surpassed that of September 11, 2001.
