Aussie dad makes creative eye patches for son with visual impairment
This five-year-old boy from Central Coast, New South Wales, loves the eye patches his dad makes for him.
Art van Genderen has amblyopia, a visual disorder which only usually affects just one eye.
His dad Jason told Newsflare: "To correct this, little Art needs to wear glasses constantly, together with a daily eye patch application to help correct his vision.
"Fearing he would get teased for wearing an eye patch, I decided to make him some eye patches with a difference!"
Jason creates an eye patch resembling a normal human eye and a more experimental one based around a dinosaur eye.
