Indian Police innovative to teach violators of Covid-19 lock down.
It has been weeks since the government imposed the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. People have been practicing self-isolation at this time. However, there have been few offenders who have been flouting the guidelines.
An initiative by the Tiruppur Police to teach offenders a lesson and raise awareness about the novel coronavirus is going viral online. The internet is in love with this funny initiative conducted by the police department and the video is being shared widely on various social media platforms.
The video shows, police officers stopping three men riding a bike because they were violating the lockdown guidelines. They were roaming around the city without face masks. To teach the men a lesson, the police officers then put them inside an ambulance that has a man pretending to be infected by Covid-19. The scared men then beg the officers to let them out of the van.
The funny video ends with a message from the officer saying, "When you roam around, anyone can have the novel coronavirus and you may not know. The government and the police officials have been stressing on the importance of staying indoors. If at all you need to come out to buy essentials, please wear masks."
