The Indonesian government temporarily suspended commercial passenger flight services at Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport starting today, Friday 24 April 2020. Closing until 1 June 2020.

If the airport is usually crowded with domestic and foreign tourists who want to vacation in Bali, now the airport is starting to be quiet.

It was seen from the front of the airport to the deserted departure terminal of the passengers.

In addition, flight information boards also show many domestic and international flight routes that have been delayed.

The government reasoned, the temporary closure of airports to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The reason is, until now the number of Indonesians infected with coronavirus is increasing.

Today there are an additional 436 Covid-19 patients in Indonesia. Thus, to date there have been a total of 8,211 Covid-19 cases, since this case was first announced on March 2, 2020.

Of that number, 1,002 people were declared cured and 689 people died.
