This is the hilarious moment two pet dogs have a 'pee off' - taking it in turns to mark their territory.

The three-year-old Apsin dog named Hakog had been let off the lead while going for a walk in Kalibo, Aklan province, the Philippines, on April 21.

Hakog urinated on a metal gate of nearby home, sparking a battle with the resident pet dog who was standing at the end of the driveway.

Footage shows how the pooches repeatedly lifting their legs to spray their mark on the area - causing much laughter from Hakog's owner.

Aimee Garcia, who recorded the amusing scene, said "I'm pregnant and I'm due very soon, so that's why I go out for a walk every morning for exercise and I take Hakod with us.

''He always lifts his legs against every lamppost or sometimes stops at every street corner. This time he did it against a gate but the dog that lived there fought back.

''I thought it was so funny, because neither of them were aggressive but they were fighting by peeing over the space.''
