Man rescues snake trapped in net in southern India

A snake that got trapped in a net was rescued by a man in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

The rescue operation took place on April 28 in Paravada suburb of Vishakapatnam district.

Visual shows the man using a pair of scissors to cut open the mesh in an effort to free the snake.

According to the reports, the snake had strayed away from the wild and entered the garden where it got trapped while moving through the net.

The rescued was done amid a countrywide lockdown, imposed due to the COVID-19 breakout. The state has recorded more than 1259 and 31 deaths related to the disease.
