A fitness mad couple completed an entire marathon while on lockdown without even leaving their home by doing laps around their 14th-floor apartment.

Christoph and Claire Kent, 29, are training for an Iron Man challenge later this year and decided to take on the indoor 26-mile run challenge while having a spring clean.

They moved all the furniture to one side to give their two-bed flat a good clean, and after they realised how much space they had, they decided to attempt the marathon.

Christoph from Weybridge, Surrey, measured their Dubai apartment using a tape measure, finding that 1,000 laps of the rooms worked out as 26 miles.
