Table tennis hobbyist Ariff Abidin is a dentist by day but has tuned his skills for ping pong and displayed them by pulling off this epic trick shot.

Captured on April 29, the footage shows Abidin all past a table with a book in one hand and a ball and paddle in the other, he then - without looking - hits the ball across the table hitting a plastic cup that has another ball placed on top.

Abidin set up this trick while being under lockdown during the coronavirus outbreak.

He has a table tennis blog where he invites others to challenge themselves with trick shots.
