Kalitta Air Boeing 747 Returns Cruise Passengers to Birmingham Airport
Kalitta Air Boeing 747-400 arriving at Birmingham Airport (UK) from Oakland Airport, California (USA) after flying passengers stranded after a possible Coronavirus outbreak on the Princess Cruises' "Grand Princess" cruise ship off the coast of California.
The flight is notable as Birmingham Airport seldom recieves the Boeing 747 jumbo-jet, especially of the cargo variety. It is even more interesting in that this cargo aircraft was carrying 135 British nationals and their dependents, as a passenger flight.
