NHS staff at a Leeds hospital join in clap for our carers and keyworkers this evening (Thursday 30th April) and also to sing happy birthday to Captain Tom Moore. Clap for our carers and keyworkers has become a weekly tradition of clapping for NHS staff, carers & keyworkers at 8pm, and is now in it's 6th week. Doctors & Nurses at Leeds General Infirmary, came out to join in with the clapping and to sing happy birthday to Captain Tom Moore, who turns 100 today. Captain Tom Moore has been recognised as a national hero, after he single handedly raise over £30 milllion pounds for the NHS, by walking laps of his garden. Tom originally set a target of 100 laps, but then decided to carry on doing laps until his 100th birthday.
