Wildlife enthusiast Nara Duong recorded the inventive reptile in his front yard in Siem Reap, Cambodia on April 5.

Footage shows the wild animal raising its upper body to the hanging branches. It failed a few times, but did not gave up until it finally climbed up the tree.

Nara said: ''I found the snake trying several times to get up onto the mango tree from my motorcycle. I had to let it go up the tree before I could ride my motorbike for work. This incident tells an important lesson, that we should never give up on anything in life."
