Only several people turned up to an anti-lockdown protest in Central London this morning (Sat 2nd May). The demo, which was organised on social media, saw a handful of demonstrators at Parliament Square in Westminster and one lone man outside New Scotland Yard. They were campaigning for an end to lockdown procedures introduced by the government a month ago. It follows protests in the USA, France and other countries. This week, PM Boris Johnson announced that he would consider a plan for people to return to school and work next week as the country is now past the peak of infections.
