Police in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu booked a group youth who attacked a father-son duo for cautioning them against inappropriate behaviour.

The act, which was captured on CCTV cameras, took place in Kodungaiyur area of Chennai on April 29.

Visual showed the group of intoxicated youths pelting stones and attacking the father-son duo.

According to the reports, the youths were smoking cannabis and drinking in an empty plot, when they got into argument and started teasing girls.

Standing up to the bullying, the duo objected to the behaviour.

This led the youths to attack the duo.

The cops rescued both of them and took them to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

A case been registered against the youths and cops are investigating with CCTV footages.
