An elderly woman forgot her flat keys and dangled her 9-year-old grandson down to their flat via a rope but the child became stuck.

The video showed that the trapped boy was lowered down by a thin woollen rope. His grandmother held the rope on the top floor, trying to lower the boy down so he could climb into the third-floor window.

The police came and used a safety fire-fighting rope to prevent the trapped boy from falling. About 10 minutes later, the trapped boy was rescued.

It’s reported that the boy was trapped for about an hour before the police arrived. The heat and tension drained the boy of energy as he shouted repeatedly: "Uncle, hurry up, my legs are numb and I have no strength."

The video was filmed on May 4 and provided by local media.
