Law student Gabbie Hill from Wheaton, Illinois and her mother Carole have gone viral on TikTok (@gabbiehill) after demonstrating how they repurpose their old rosé wine bottles.

In cool footage from April 14, Gabbie talks her TikTok followers through the process and demonstrates her impressive DIY skills.

The best part? You don't need fancy equipment to get crafty in lockdown.

Gabbie told Newsflare: "My mom and I are bored at home, so we decided to finally do something with all the wine bottles we’ve saved!

"My mom uses a scoring device to pre score the bottles. Then, the bottles are emerged in boiling water briefly and ice water briefly. The temperature causes the glass to break on the pre scored line!"
