Whilst on a daily walk wildlife photographer Ewan Wilson takes the time to observe a nest of small British wild birds called Coots. These small birds nest in water under tall trees to protect them selfs from predators. The birds attracted a crowed as they have more than a few chicks within the nest. It becomes very clear that the parents of these birds are very busy and are caring animals. The mother tends to the chicks whilst the father searches for food and feeds the chicks before anyone els.

The tiny babes must only be a few days old and are definitely enjoying the exploration of there environment!

"There are nests everywhere and dozens of chicks. The strategy of being a kind parent seems to be very successful for these birds!"- Ewan Wilson (The filmr)
