Herd of wild elephants stomps across street in southern India

The large group of elephants emerged from the jungle and stomped across the road in the southern Indian state of Karnataka.

The incident took place at Tyagathur-Kushalnagar crossing on May 4.

The video shows a group of wild elephants crossing the road in large numbers.

According to reports, these elephants are entering the villages and destroying lakhs of rupees ($ 1,323) worth coffee, plantations and paddy fields.

Despite the complaint to the forest department officials, no action has been taken by the officials.
