A brown bug with rough-looking spikes confused a monk in Thailand when he spotted it resting in his hut.
Phra Jakub saw the curious-looking insect staring back at him when it landed on his balcony at the temple in Bangkok on May 3rd.
The insect was later identified as Aristobia horridula, which belongs to the beetle family.
They are usually found across Asia especially in Myanmar, Laos, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Thailand.
