A video has emerged of an Air Ambulance, taking off from a police incident earlier this week (Thursday 7th May)
The Airbus H145 helicopter from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to a scene on Barnsdale Road in Allerton Bywater near Castleford, where a vehicle had left the road and collided with traffic lights. The driver only suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield for a priliminary check up, and as such the air ambulance & crew were stood down and returned to base.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance operate 2 Airbus H145 helicopters from their bases at Nostell Priory in Wakefield & RAF Topcliffe in North Yorkshire
