Wild tusker rejuvenates itself in water body in Sri Lanka

As the temperature soared across the nation, a giant tusker was seen rejuvenating itself in a waterbody in Sri Lanka.

The incident took place at Kala Wewa lake on April 5.

The park is a famous spot for tuskers in the country.

The video shows the elephant, neck-deep in the lake, taking a quick dip in the water.

Identified as Diga, the pachyderm boasts tusks that are almost 3.5 feet (1 metre) long.

Previously in 2018, he had killed another male elephant in a fight for winning over a female
