A group of kind residents have been running "take-one-leave-one" food banks to help alleviate hunger across the UK during the Covid-19 crisis.

The campaign aims to allow those who are in need to "take one" non-perishable good from the booth, while encouraging people who can share to "leave one" non-perishable good for the homeless and hungry.

The idea has easily spread throughout London and they are planning to set up more booths across the UK with the help of volunteers.

Footage shows one of their pop-up booths in Islington, London taken on May 9.
