This video was taken on North Lagoon Drive in Stanley Park Vancouver and shows several adult Canadian Geese shepherding a large group of goslings across a quiet, empty road. The only sounds are rain drops and chirping birds. Stanley Park was closed to cars on 8 April 2020 to reduce the number of people in the park to allow physical distancing and more space for outdoor exercise during the Covid 19 pandemic. The closure has been wildly successful and the Park’s animals are thriving without the noise and pollution from cars.
