Snake wranglers catch fierce cobra scaring residents by hissing at them
This is the terrifying moment a fierce cobra hissed at rescuers after being caught slithering through homes.
Residents called the emergency services when the snake was seen in a house in Songkhla, southern Thailand on Tuesday morning (May 12).
The snake wranglers found the 6ft long cobra coiled up in a corner where it immediately hissed at them after it saw them approaching.
They were careful in catching the snake as it was aggressive but they eventually stuffed it into a sack.
Body-cam footage shows the cobra being taken to the woods for releasing but when it slithered out of the sack it stopped and turned to hissing to the rescuer again.
The rescuer volunteers tried to chase it again using but eventually relented and the snake slithered off into the undergrowth.
The relieved house resident said he was so scared of the snake because it appeared to be ready to attack anyone.
