Monkeys hijack eatery display board after straying into neighbourhood in northeast India's Sikkim
A group of monkeys kept passersby busy after hijacking the front area of an eatery in northeastern India's Sikkim.
The incident took place at the MG Marg, a popular tourist place in Gangtok, the state capital on May 15.
Visuals showed at least two monkeys taking turns to sit on the signboard displayed outside the facility.
One of the monkeys was filmed climbing down from the board and sucking on a pipe-like object as people watched the antics unfold.
The monkey also played with a white cloth that was hanging from the signboard.
