Dashcam footage shows a man "jumping" out of a moving car that had just cut across a truck and raced through a closed lane in Nottingham, central England.

Kevin Williamson's dashcam caught the moment a silver car drove right across him while approaching a roundabout.

The silver vehicle then mounts the kerb as it drives through a closed lane and races through a red light where a man is seen exiting the car while it is still moving.

Williamson told Newsflare: "I’m driving a 44-ton heavy goods vehicle. The car cuts me up and is going so fast he mounts the kerb goes through a red light then one of the passengers jumps out the rear door or was pushed."

This dramatic clip was filmed on May 13 by the Crown Island.
