A loyal pooch has learned how to wait patiently on a motorcycle while her owner goes shopping at a market.

The white mongrel dog named Didi rides with Jira Sirisom, 50, when she travels to buy fresh food in Songkhla, southern Thailand.

Footage from May 8 shows how the obedient pooch sits calmly on the motorcycle waiting patiently for her owner to return.

Jira said she has taken five-year-old Didi everywhere with her since she was just a puppy

She rides with the dog standing on the front of the bike and has taught her clever pet how to to stay put on the motorcycle while she runs errands.

Jira said: "I have raised Didi since she was a puppy and we have been together ever since. I have no family so I cannot leave her alone when I go out.

"I have taught her to stay on the motorcycle while I walk around the market and she has always been happy to obey."
