During the lockdown in Padang city was recorded by a charity box thief from a CCTV at the Dhawatul Muslim mosque in Lubuk Begalung sub-district (May 15, 2020).

This thief's action was monitored by CCTV operators located in the houses of residents next to the mosque.

and the operator along with two other men entered the mosque to catch the charity box thief who was busy absorbing the charity box behind the pulpit. but the act of burglary failure was not carried out properly because the thief tried to point a firearm at the three men, and each thief could escape with his vehicle parked in front of the mosque.

Edi said "we could not thwart the action, because initially he had issued a sharp weapon and we still tried to fight, but we had time to retreat because he finally issued a firearm, the CCTV footage was not so clearly visible."
