Scores of anti-government protesters rallied at shopping malls in Hong Kong on Saturday (May 16th).

This footage shows protesters singing and chanting against the government at malls in Sha Tin and Mong Kok.

At Moko mall in Mong Kok they held banners reading "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution in our times."

After that riot police attempted clearance of protesters, then gave up, a few dozen protesters kept chanting slogans at Shatin's New Town Plaza. They also stuck a text on the railings of the mall stating:
"Night will never overcome day,
With fireflies one could light up the sky,
They can only at most hurt your bodies,
they can never take your beliefs away."

Protesters had malls singalongs and slogan chanting in several malls across Hong Kong, among which Shatin, Yuen Long, Tseung Kwan O, Olympic. Here, they chanted slogans in the Moko mall, in Mongkok, while displaying flags with "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times".
